Professional Dog Walking
Meet The Team
Kay Brearley
I have owned dogs for almost 40 years and have experience of dealing with a variety of breeds ranging from Yorkshire Terrier to Great Dane. I have previously owned Cats which include Burmese and Cross Breads. I have also bred Birds, ranging from Dusky Lories to Amazon Parrots and I have kept both Marine and Tropical Fish. I currently jointly own two English Cocker Spaniels with my husband Lee, and one working Cocker Spaniel.
Following my retirement I have embarked upon a complete change of career direction which has been influenced by my passion for dogs and for this reason I set up Kay9Brearley Professional Dog Walking in June 2015.
In preparation for setting up the business, I studied for and obtained two Diplomas (with Distinction) in Professional Dog Walking and Canine Care and First Aid. I further qualified in May 2016 as an Advanced Canine First Aider with ‘1st Aiders Training’ at a course held in Shrewsbury. I have recently obtained 2 further qualifications obtaining a distinction in an Introduction to solving dog behaviour problems as well as completing Advanced Dog First Aid.
I am a member of the International Society of Animal Professionals, and I Fully Insured and Security (DBS) Cleared. I am also a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) providing reassurance to customers that their dogs will be safe in transit.
